Water pressure in the shower a bit weak, which can be a dampener if you're looking for a strong rinse. Can't complain about much.

The room was clean and spacious, really comfy beds, made for great sleep. I loved the eco-friendly toiletries and the thoughtful extras like tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent, way better than expected with plenty of local options. A few minor issues like weak shower pressure, but overall a fantastic stay!

The hotel is well-maintained and absolutely gorgeous and in a handy location to Princess Street. The rooms are spotless and new-fashioned and they have a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and television. Thanks very much for making our stay really really nice.

The room we had included an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. It was surely a very relaxing stay for a business trip...

Mccrae's was a lovely find! John is such a friendly host. The breakfast was amazin, especially the porridge which i highly recommend. Our room was super clean and comfy, seemed like home right away. It's nice that there are only a few rooms, so everything felt really personalized and we meet cool fellow guests.

The shower pressure was kinda weak and parking can be a bit tricky. More privacy curtains would be awesome.

The shower pressure left a lot to be desired!!! Be prepared for a bit of a trek to find parking nearby. Lastly, some extra privacy curtains in the room could really enhance the experience!!!

A lovely location, but shower pressure was weaker than expected, and I can't believe there was no complimentary gesture to elevate my experience. The room was fine, but I woudl've appreciated some extra attention. Almost gave a positive review, but just couldn't with all these downsides lingering.

The ground floor room I stayed in was spacious and clean, contributing to a restful two nights. I appreciated the high-quality, environmentally friendly toiletries provided. Breakfast was great with an excellent selection of fresh, local options that were both plentiful and delicious. I also enjoyed the city view from the room.

My go-to spot in town! the place is stunning and spotless, with a lovely view of the garden 🌿. the breakfast menu is amazing, especially the full Scottish breakfast.
